Got the arm pods attached and they haven't fallen off yet. Just need to finish the side pods (which I have been putting off as they are far more work than is necessary) and it will be complete.......

Envious of the wahines activities down south knowing I am missing out on fun and adventure. Missing the company.

Looking good - though it has taken a while, hasn't it... :)
I miss you too baby!! Can't wait to see you next week. Love you :)
We miss you too! I'm looking forward to catching up when we're back. Yay! :o)
Oh hey, I meant to pass this onto you a while ago... a comment from my mom and dad, who couldn't post because they don't have google accounts. Anyway, here it is!
Hi Sam,
Mark and I are both really familiar with the water bomber in the picture. Mark said that tanker 7 (in the photo) was flown by a number of pilots, but the most recent was Dave Heidel (Lauren - this is Steven Heidel's dad). Just for interest sake, Mark's job was to fly in a beach baron 55 as the air attack officer. Mark isn't a pilot - he'd sit in the right hand seat, and direct the planes in on bombing missions over forest fires, and act as an air traffic coordinator as well. I got to go on a practice run once, and although I found it extremely interesting, I had my air sickness bag close at hand. I didn't need to use it, thank goodness. I literally was green when we landed. You are flying fairly close to the trees so there is quite a feeling of motion. I think I'll stick to my job and let him do his! If you like aviation, I'll try to find some photos to send you later. But its late here now so I should get to bed as I have to work in the morning. So glad Fiona and Lauren are travelling together - they should have a wonderful time! Thanks for all you've done for her.
Pattie
