I can see 1) Coastlands in P'ram 2) Chocolate shop on SH1 3) Bookshop in Pukerua Bay 4) Massey 5) Wind farm up past Palmie on way through to Wairarapa 6) War memorial in Paihiatua 7) Ohakea....
I think I recognize the clock tower thing at Palmerston North... and the apples sign reminds me of those amazing apples that we ate on our road trip to Castlepoint, whether or not that's where the picture was taken...

"or whatever you call the Paihiatua region." Ummm, South Hawkes Bay. Though it blurs into northern Wairarapa. Eketahuna is in the Wairarapa, I'd say.
